The First Berserker Khazan

Neople’s The First Berserker: Khazan is out today worldwide, though Deluxe Edition players have enjoyed early access over the past several days. Despite extensive acclaim from players and critics, creative director Junho Lee acknowledged feedback, with the team working to “turn your voices into real, meaningful improvements to the game.”

These include balance changes and adjustments available today, like increasing the damage dealt by the Greatsword’s Brutal Attack. The Spear’s Phantom: Heatwave skill will also be less broken, costing more Spirit to activate and consuming more Stamina after a Brink Guard. As for bosses, Viper and Maluca are seeing adjustments to their difficulty, while a few others (who remain unnamed due to spoilers) will get some buffs.

And for those who felt Easy Mode wasn’t quite doing it, you take reduced health and stamina damage while it’s active. You’ll also deal increased damage to enemies.

The First Berserker: Khazan is available today for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our review here – we gave it a seven out of ten.
